My Personalised Ritual: Baby Oral Care
The following ritual will help you get your baby used to – and even enjoy – having their teeth cleaned:

Everything you need to know
The first teeth to erupt are typically the lower central incisors, followed by the upper central incisors. Baby teeth start coming in between 6-12 months of age.
It’s important to be aware that which teeth appear first and the exact timing of when they emerge can vary for each child.
It's crucial to start brushing as soon as their milk teeth appear, typically around 6 months of age.
Establish a routine of brushing twice daily, in the morning and before bed. Before the 1st tooth appears, you can already pass a humidified gauze in the mouth of your baby, to get your baby used to have its mouth (and later, teeth) cleaned.
Experts recommend starting dental visits when the first milk teeth appear, ideally by your child’s first birthday.
This early introduction helps familiarise your child with the dentist's environment and sets the tone for lifelong oral care habits.
