The GUM ActiVital Toothpaste is gluten-free and does not contain any lactose. Since no lactose or dairy products are processed in the manufacturing site, the probability of lactose contamination in the supply chain is extremely low. The GUM ActiVital Toothpaste is a cosmetic product and is hence not intended for ingestion.
The GUM ActiVital Toothpaste is considered vegetarian-friendly as the formulation does not include animal-derived ingredients. However, it cannot be labelled vegan as the manufacturing site has not been accredited vegan.
The GUM ActiVital Toothpaste's PlakClear technology can prevent bacteria from adhering to the tooth surface thanks to cationic silica which binds to oral microbes, thus helping to prevent them from re-adhering to enamel.
Use of the GUM ActiVital Toothpaste is indicated for children 7+ and adults as a 1450 ppm fluoride ions (0,32% sodium fluoride) concentration is not required for pre-school children.
